About Us

Behind the kennelaffix Windcraft is me, Maria Herbertsson. I live with Conny our daughter Klara and our dogs, in Hallsberg (20 kilometres south of Örebro) in Närke.

I have always been interested in animals and when I was a child my sister and I had lots of animals among us, rabbits, cats, fishes, pigs, sheep and of course horses. But when I wanted a dog, mum and dad said stop! I had to wait until I got my own place to live…

But a horse was OK, so in 1992 I bought the first horse of my own, Winni.

During this time, I was reading all I found about dogs and I spent a lot of time whit one of my friend who had retrievers.

1997 I met Trampas Lady-Louciana “Tessi” who was an English springer spaniel. My heart was sold!  I contacted Anna Åberg, Springlet kennels and in February 2001 I got a very special birthday present: A bitch, Springlet Fairy Tale “Saga”.

Springlet Playing Hero “Hero” moved to my home at Christmas 2002. At that time I decided to sell the horse I had at the time, and go for the dogs.

2003 I started on SKK´s breeder education to learn more about dogs and breeding.

Now I look forward to have a small breeding of my own.

Our main goal whit the breeding is:

• Pilot the breed through this generation.
• Breed sound dogs whit a good type and conformation according to the breed standard.  
• Dogs with a correct temperament and “will to please” for work and show.
